Description
Ferrari calls the 812 GTS the return of the V12 spider, and in this Giallo Modena DS example that statement feels very real. Beneath the long sculpted hood sits a 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12, sending an astonishing 812 hp through a lightning quick 7 speed dual clutch transmission to the rear wheels. Official figures for the GTS are around 789 hp, 530 lb ft of torque and a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in about 3.0 seconds, with a top speed of 340 km/h, so this car comfortably lives at the summit of open top performance.
Curb weight is in the mid 1,600 kg range and the 812 GTS uses a front mid engine layout with rear wheel drive, double wishbone front suspension and a multi link rear for precision and stability at speed. This open roof flagship sits in rarefied company, produced in relatively limited numbers worldwide compared with mainstream exotics, and it represents one of the last front engine Ferrari V12 convertibles of its era.
Finished in vibrant Giallo over matching Giallo interior, this car leans fully into its Ferrari identity. Carbon fibre is everywhere. Front bumper sections, rear side bumper and diffuser, underdoor covers, quarter glass, central bridge, sill kicks and upper console are all specified in carbon, complemented by a Carbon Fibre Driver Zone with LED shift lights and carbon racing seats. Yellow brake calipers, black tailpipes, Scuderia Ferrari shields and tricolore dreamlines and F1 button housings add motorsport inspired detail.
Inside, Extrarange leather, coloured belts, tricolore seat stripes and a Cavallino stitched on each headrest create a bespoke atmosphere. Modern convenience is covered by Apple CarPlay, surround view, advanced front driving camera, front and rear radar with adaptive cruise, adaptive headlights with SBL function, passenger display, high power hi fi and a suspension lifter that makes everyday driving more practical without dulling the 812 GTS character.
